Wall-Mounting an LCD Monitor on Drywall for Under ¥1,500

With remote work starting, I set up a desk in the living room — but was quickly evicted for making the family feel like they had to tiptoe around me.
Moved a desk into a corner of the bedroom. No room depth for a monitor stand, so I decided to wall-mount the LCD.

Amazon
...or so I thought. A quick search showed that VESA wall-mount brackets for drywall run over ¥10,000.
Looking for a cheaper option, I found a way to do it for ¥1,500.
Only two parts needed:

The square bracket looks flimsy, but it's a metal punched-board fixture with a 20 kg load rating.
A 24-inch LCD monitor weighs around 5 kg, so it has plenty of margin.
It's secured to drywall with pins, leaving almost no marks in the wall.

Any VESA-compatible monitor works — VESA monitors have four screw holes on the back.

Here's the finished result:
Done.
